Why do we give?
We give because God first gave to us. Every good thing in our lives is a gift from Him, and giving is one way we show gratitude and trust.
It’s biblical. God calls His people to give as an act of obedience and worship (Malachi 3:10, 2 Corinthians 9:7).
It fuels the mission. Our generosity provides resources for the church to share the gospel and meet needs locally and globally.
It grows our faith. Giving stretches us to rely on God, not on our own resources (Proverbs 3:9–10).
It changes lives. Every gift makes a difference in someone’s story, both inside the church and in the world around us.
We don’t give because God needs something from us—we give because He wants something for us: a heart that trusts Him fully.
Where to start?
Giving is an act of worship and trust. If you’re new to generosity, don’t feel pressured—just start where you feel like God is leading you. The most important step is to begin. As you grow in faith, the goal is to work toward the biblical standard of the tithe—10% of your income.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” — Malachi 3:10

What happens when we give?
Giving isn’t just about money—it’s about faith, trust, and obedience. When we give, several powerful things happen:
God is honored. Giving acknowledges that everything we have comes from Him (James 1:17).
The church is resourced. Your generosity fuels ministry, outreach, and meeting the needs of people in our community and beyond (Acts 2:44–45).
We are transformed. Giving shifts our hearts from greed to gratitude and grows us in faith (Matthew 6:21).
Blessing is released. Scripture promises that God pours out blessings on those who give faithfully (Malachi 3:10, Luke 6:38).
When we give, we participate in God’s mission, we see lives changed, and we experience the joy that comes from trusting Him.
